Our correspondent reported on Sunday that three people were killed due to an Israeli airstrike targeting a house in the border town of Houla in southern Lebanon.
The correspondent stated that an Israeli drone carried out an airstrike on a building in the border town, resulting in the deaths of three individuals.
This marks the second time in less than 24 hours that Israeli airstrike hits Houla, causing the deaths of Lebanese citizens. Yesterday, two people were killed in an Israeli drone strike with two missiles that targeted a house and a commercial store in the town.
The southern Lebanon front has witnessed an escalation in clashes recently, amid international warnings that Israel might now shift its focus from Gaza to Lebanon. Nevertheless, American officials told the New York Times that Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has “changed his position” regarding opening a new war front in the north with the Lebanese group Hezbollah.
