Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan stated that during his official visit to Estonia, he discussed the ceasefire in Gaza and the entry of humanitarian aid into the region.
In a press conference with his Estonian counterpart Margus Tsahkna, Bin Farhan emphasized that the ongoing violation of international law in Gaza cannot be allowed to continue, considering the two-state solution and the recognition of the Palestinian state as the path to peace. Bin Farhan appreciated the UN Security Council’s resolution to stop the war in Gaza.
The Saudi Foreign Minister stressed the necessity of reaching a political solution for the Russia-Ukraine crisis.
Additionally, Bin Farhan revealed that the trade exchange between Saudi Arabia and Estonia reached over 70 million dollars last year.
Faisal bin Farhan arrived on an official visit to Estonia, where he met with his counterpart in the capital, Tallinn. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations in various fields, as well as intensifying bilateral and multilateral coordination on issues serving the interests of both countries.
Following the meeting, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding on political consultations between the two countries.
