Sheikh fadel alzaki, a member of the Central Authority and the head of the Sharia Committee of the Islamic Scholars Council, emphasized in his recent statements that the plight and hardship of the families of detainees are worsening day by day. They face increasing challenges due to the suspension of cost-of-living allowances and housing allowances, which are considered their natural rights.
Sheikh fadel alzaki pointed out in a post on the X platform that this situation puts the families in severe distress and hardship, as they struggle to bear increasing expenses without the support they previously relied on.
It is noteworthy that these conditions become more complicated with the continued suspension of allowances even after the release of the detainees, making matters more difficult for those families striving to meet their basic needs.
In this context, Sheikh fadel alzaki called for addressing and rectifying this matter promptly, as the failure to provide adequate support could have significant negative effects on the entire community.
The Sheikh added, “In light of these difficult circumstances, it is imperative for the responsible authorities to take immediate steps to alleviate the burden on these affected families and provide them with the necessary support to ensure a dignified and stable life away from the financial and psychological pressures they endure.”
