Legal advisor Ibrahim Sarhan stated that political naturalization in Bahrain has caused a catastrophe in every sense of the word, leading to crises that will affect citizens and the nation for decades.
In a post on the “X” platform, Sarhan mentioned that political naturalization has caused crises including, but not limited to, education, housing, and healthcare, which are the most basic and essential services. Additionally, it has resulted in economic, social, and cultural damages.
Ibrahim Sarhan emphasized that the opposition has long called for the cessation of political naturalization to protect the nation and safeguard citizens’ rights. He pointed out that this naturalization has drained public funds and that the specters of poverty and unemployment now haunt the present and future of the nation. This situation necessitates a serious and sincere will to implement a fundamental solution to salvage whatever remaining possible solutions.
