On Sunday, Palestinian Red Crescent medics recovered the bodies of three Palestinians in East Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, who were targeted by the Israeli army while waiting for aid trucks.
Additionally, the bodies of three more individuals and several injured people were retrieved, with the search for missing persons under the rubble continuing after the Israeli army targeted the Abu Hasira family’s home in the port area west of Gaza City.
Four people were injured by an airstrike that targeted the Rady family’s home in the new camp north of Nuseirat Camp in central Gaza. Israeli aircraft also targeted a postal and interior ministry building in Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Three handcuffed bodies were retrieved from the Kerem Shalom crossing in the southern Gaza Strip after they were targeted immediately following their release.
Medical teams remain unable to access many areas of Rafah City to recover the bodies of the dead due to ongoing Israeli shelling.
The Israeli army stated, “We targeted the Khan Younis municipality building, which Hamas uses for its military activities. We found an operational tunnel entrance in the building linked to a tunnel route.”
