Israeli Hostage Rescued from Gaza Says Israeli Army Bombed Her Former Location, Killing Two Captives
An Israeli hostage, Noa Argamani, who was rescued in an Israeli military operation in Gaza on Saturday, reported that the Israeli army bombed the house where she had previously been held, resulting in the deaths of two captives.
Argamani made these statements on Sunday to the newspaper “Israel Hayom” following her rescue operation in the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of hundreds of Palestinian civilians.
Argamani said she was held captive with Yossi Sharabi and Itai Versky, who were killed by the Israeli army’s bombing in Gaza. She recounted an attack by the Israeli army on a house where she was previously held, saying, “I saw the rocket hit the house, and I was sure I was going to die, but I survived.”
She mentioned that members of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) moved her between houses and occasionally allowed her to go outside to get some air, while she was disguised as an Arab woman.
Argamani’s statements are consistent with her words in a previous video broadcast by Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, on January 15, confirming that the Israeli captives were not coerced into making their statements.
Israeli Hostage : the Army Bombed My Location
At that time, Argamani said, “I was in a building that was bombed by a plane from our forces, which launched three rockets; two of them exploded, and the third did not. In the building, we were with several Al-Qassam soldiers and three captives: myself, Itai Versky, and Yossi Sharabi.”
She continued in the video, “After the rocket hit the building where we were all present, we were buried under the rubble. Al-Qassam soldiers managed to save my life and Itai’s, but we could not save Yossi’s life.” A few days later, she and Itai were moved to another location, but during the transfer, Itai was hit by Israeli forces’ fire and killed.
The Israeli army announced yesterday that it had recovered four Israeli hostages from two separate locations in the heart of Nuseirat in central Gaza, coinciding with the martyrdom of 210 Palestinians and the injury of more than 400 on Saturday in a massacre committed by the occupation forces following intense artillery and air bombardment targeting the Nuseirat camp, according to the Gaza Government Media Office.
Following this, Al-Qassam Brigades stated that the Israeli army managed to recover some of its captives by committing horrific massacres, but at the same time, killed some of them during the operation, without specifying the number.
