A report in The Washington Post revealed that 10% of the Israeli soldiers killed since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza are American citizens, despite Americans constituting less than 2% of the settlers in occupied Palestine.
The report added that 21 Americans serving in the Israeli occupation forces were killed in Gaza, and one in the occupied northern territories along the border with Lebanon in daily confrontations with the Islamic resistance in Lebanon.
In Jerusalem, another American serving under the Israeli occupation police was found dead, raising the total number of Americans serving in the occupation forces to 23 fatalities.
There is no difference between American and Israeli soldiers
This comes amidst a report published by The Intercept on January 11, indicating that since the beginning of the Israeli onslaught against Gaza, the occupation has dropped more than 29,000 bombs on the Gaza Strip, according to a US intelligence report in December.
In what appears to be a “first in US history,” the Biden administration began sending drones to monitor Gaza since at least early November.
Following the revelation of the drones, General Mark Milley claimed that special forces were sent to “Israel” to advise on hostage rescue, not to participate in targeting operations with Israeli occupation forces.
Three days after October 7, Joe Biden announced that he had sent an additional team of intelligence and expert advisors to consult with their Israeli counterparts to recover prisoners.
However, after several weeks, on November 21, it was revealed that the American team was providing intelligence via satellites used in targeting Palestinians.
Lawrence Korb, who served as an intelligence officer in Iraq before retiring, told The Intercept: “They might be targeting people; targeted intelligence means identifying and describing ‘enemy activities,’ including missile launches, artillery, command locations, control centers, and key facilities.”
