“The activities of the thirteenth anniversary of the February 14 revolution are still ongoing. In addition to the marches that confirm the continued popular presence in Bahrain, Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society launched a campaign titled “Our patience is resistant” affirming that oppression has only increased the patience, resilience, and awareness of the Bahraini people.”
“Al-Wefaq Society expressed its firm commitment to its cause in loyalty to the martyrs who sacrificed themselves and the sacrifices made by the detainees, and in adherence to the approach of Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim. On this occasion, it renewed its demands for the release of its Secretary-General and opposition leader Sheikh Ali Salman, who is detained.
Al-Wefaq campaign “Our patience is resistant” has garnered widespread interaction on social media platforms, with Bahraini citizens and activists from various nationalities participating. Participants agreed that repressive methods, threats, and intimidation have failed to halt the popular movement seeking to achieve its political demands. They also affirmed that the Bahraini people continue their legitimate struggle until they obtain all their rights.”
“While images of Bahrainis commemorating the anniversary of the February 14 revolution were circulated, accompanied by a message to the Bahraini regime stating their failure to change the stance of the people.
In addition to standing firm on fundamental demands, there are now calls to end normalization with the Zionist entity. Activists praised the popular stance supporting the Palestinian cause, despite all forms of repression faced in Bahrain. They emphasized that the people’s endurance of this oppression represents a form of resistance, likening it to what is happening in Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq.”
