Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz has issued an order to host 1,000 pilgrims as part of the initiative “Hosting Pilgrims from Families of Martyrs and Injured from Gaza” to perform the Hajj this year on an exceptional basis.
This brings the total number of hosted pilgrims from Palestine to 2,000, as part of the “Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit Program” implemented by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance.
The ministry indicated that since the issuance of the royal order, preparations have been made to welcome the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ guests from the families of martyrs and injured in Palestine, by devising a plan through several committees dedicated to caring for the guests and enabling them to perform Hajj with ease and comfort.
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance in Saudi Arabia continues to receive guests as part of the “Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit Program,” following an order to host 2,322 pilgrims from over 88 countries across various continents.
