On the ninth anniversary of the arrest of Sheikh Ali Salman, the general secretary of the Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, the deputy secretary-general of the society, Sheikh Hussain aldaihi, affirmed that the people of Bahrain will not forget, will not be silent, and will not stop until Sheikh Ali Salman and all political prisoners are released.

“aldaihi added: Sheikh Ali Salman was more than just a man or a political opponent. He was a symbol of hope and change in Bahrain. He was a voice for justice and human dignity. His arrest was an attack on everything he represents, and it was evidence of the authorities’ fear of truth and justice.
Sheikh Ali Salman thanks those who stand in solidarity with him
On the ninth anniversary of his arrest, the Secretary-General of the Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, His Eminence Sheikh Ali Salman, thanked all those who stood in solidarity with him, whether from within Bahrain or abroad. He also called on the sympathizers to continue to fight for freedom and justice in Bahrain, in order to build a homeland where justice and human dignity prevail.
He also added: “A person must make his work sincere for the sake of God and seek His satisfaction. Here, there is no blame for anyone. All thanks are due to everyone, and I am completely submissive and content with what God has decreed for me from affliction, as long as it is in the sight of God Almighty, and it was in the service of His religion and His servants. We ask God for sincerity in intention and honesty in what we do.”
At the end of his message, the Secretary-General called upon God Almighty to grant victory to the Mujahideen in Gaza, and to grant healing to the wounded and mercy to the martyrs.
