The Israeli army launches a campaign of raids and arrests in several areas of the West Bank.
Local sources reported that “Israeli occupation forces raided Al-Far’a camp south of Tubas.”
The sources added that “the occupation forces initially entered the Al-Far’a area with several military patrols accompanied by a bulldozer, and stationed themselves on the main road leading to the camp for over an hour, while additional military reinforcements were brought in from the Hamra checkpoint to the area.”
An Israeli army special unit raided a mosque in Al-Far’a camp.
Palestinian media reported that “a young man was injured in the thigh by occupation gunfire during a raid in the center of Nablus city” in the northern West Bank.
Gunfire targeted Israeli forces around Balata camp east of Nablus city.
Our correspondent reported that “widespread arrests were conducted by the Israeli army in and around Ramallah.”
The Israeli army arrested dozens of Palestinians in the town of Silwad east of Ramallah, as well as in Kafr Ni’ma west of the city, where “one of the parks was turned into a field investigation center” according to eyewitnesses, who noted that “the scale of the arrests in the town is unprecedented.”
The Israeli forces arrested a 12-year-old boy from Beit Ummar north of Hebron city after raiding and searching his family’s home, and raided the homes of freed prisoners in the town.
This morning, the Israeli forces arrested a young man from Bal’a town east of Tulkarm after raiding his home.
The forces also raided several homes in the eastern neighborhood of the town, occupied their rooftops, and conducted extensive searches in the area.
