Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani confirmed today, Friday, that the Canadian government’s action against the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is unacceptable by international law standards and principles and holds no value in terms of impact. However, it clearly demonstrates the peak of the Canadian state’s service to Israel.
In a statement in Persian on the platform “X,” he added, “It is neither surprising nor unexpected from Israel’s agents and allies that, at the height of the killing of Palestinians, their women, and children by the criminal Zionist regime in Gaza, they label the world’s largest anti-terrorist force (the IRGC) as a terrorist entity.”
Kanaani continued, “History and awakened human consciences will undoubtedly remember these human rights claimants and true partners in crimes against humanity, alongside the Zionist criminals and terrorists. Without a doubt, the IRGC will grow stronger and prouder every day, remaining a thorn in the side of the enemies of Iran and Islam.”
Iran announced the summoning of the Italian ambassador responsible for Canadian interests in Iran, and he was informed of Tehran’s strong protest against the Canadian government’s action.
