Jabalia, Gaza – In a move showcasing remarkable battlefield prowess, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced on Sunday their success in executing a sophisticated operation targeting the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip. In the operation’s details, the brigades managed to detonate a booby-trapped house where Israeli soldiers had sought refuge, resulting in one fatality and one injury.
The brigades reported in a statement that the operation took place near the vicinity of Al-Mabhuh site east of Jabalia camp, where they utilized a “Yasin 105” shell to target a “Merkava” tank, before the enemy soldiers fled to the adjacent house, which had been pre-prepared as a trap and successfully detonated.
Shortly before this operation, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced the targeting of an Israeli armored vehicle with a “Tandem” shell east of Jabalia city, resulting in injuries to several personnel.
These operations come within a series of actions carried out by the Al-Qassam Brigades on Sunday against Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip. This comes after the Israeli army revealed yesterday, Saturday, the tally of its casualties since October 7th, which reached 620 fatalities, including officers and soldiers.
