The Al-Qassam Brigades announced the success of a special operation in Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, which resulted in the killing of 12 Israeli soldiers.

In their statement, they clarified that the operation began by targeting a D9 military bulldozer with a “Yasin 105” missile, followed by targeting an Israeli force that had taken cover in a house with two anti-personnel grenades. The brigades confirmed that the engagement with the Israeli force resulted in the killing of several soldiers.

The Al-Qassam Brigades added that after attempting to retrieve the scattered Israeli military equipment at the site, Israeli rescue forces advanced towards the area. This prompted Al-Qassam fighters to detonate a “Shawaz” explosive device in a Merkava tank, leading to its destruction.

The Al-Qassam Brigades mentioned that the Israeli Air Force subsequently bombed the site intensively, but the operation achieved its objectives, killing 12 Israeli soldiers according to their statement.
