The town of Duraz witnessed a massive Protests on Friday, March 29, 2024, during the funeral procession of the medical negligence martyr in “Jaw” Central Prison, Hussain Khalil Al-Ramram, condemning the regime’s continued disregard for popular demands and calling for an end to the policy of medical negligence and slow death.
The protesters carried pictures of the martyr Al-Ramram and chanted slogans like “We will not leave the prisoners,” holding banners condemning the regime’s execution of martyrs through medical negligence and demanding the release of detainees.
One of the banners read, “The General Secretariat of Complaints is complicit in whitewashing the treatment of prisoners,” and another banner read, “Bahrain executes prisoners through torture and neglect.”
The demonstrators then headed to the Duraz cemetery, where they buried the martyr Al-Ramram.
