The Bahraini National Initiative Against Normalization with the Enemy issued a statement on Friday, March 29, 2024, renewing its call for an end to aggression, cutting ties with the entity, and boycotting companies supporting it, on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of Palestinian Land Day.

The statement reaffirmed the Bahraini people’s steadfast commitment to standing by the Palestinian people in liberating their land and establishing a Palestinian state on all Palestinian national territory. It emphasized the need to halt aggression against our people in Gaza, withdraw occupation forces from the entire sector, and release all prisoners.

The Bahraini government was called upon to bear its legitimate, national, and patriotic responsibilities by listening to the voice of the people demanding the closure of the embassy of the occupying entity and severing ties with it, which the International Court of Justice has condemned for genocide, racial discrimination, and ethnic cleansing. It underscored the government’s duty to boycott the occupying entity and its companies and to stand alongside the Palestinian people.

The Bahraini people were urged to continue boycotting companies supporting the usurping entity, particularly American and Western companies complicit in the ongoing genocide against our people in Gaza.

The National Initiative Against Normalization stressed the continued support for the Palestinian people in all possible forms, including material, moral, and political support, and cautioned against Zionist infiltrations in our country in various forms, including forging the source of goods and replacing them with the name of one of the collaborating Arab countries.

It noted that Land Day is the day when Palestinian masses rose up in the territories of 1948 in protest against the latest crime of seizing and confiscating thousands of dunums of Palestinian land in the Galilee region with the aim of turning them into Zionist settlements, embodying the unity of the Palestinian people in all areas, including the West Bank, Jerusalem, and Gaza, affirming that Palestine is indivisible, and that the conflict with the enemy is a civilizational existential struggle.
