Government efforts in the Gaza Strip have successfully uncovered a new mass grave within the Shifa Medical Complex, with 49 bodies exhumed, bringing the total number of discovered mass graves within hospitals in the region to 7, with 520 bodies recovered so far.
The government media office affirmed in a statement the continuation of operations to extract more bodies, amidst ongoing search and rescue efforts.
The statement pointed to the involvement of the Israeli military in the killing of nearly 400 martyrs during its raid on the Shifa Medical Complex, where it executed hundreds of wounded, patients, displaced persons, and medical personnel.
In this context, the statement fully accused the American administration, the international community, and the Israeli occupation of exacerbating this tragedy and allowing it to occur within hospitals.
The Gaza media office called on free world nations to intervene immediately to halt the genocide targeting the healthcare sector and hospitals, and urged for an independent international investigation to uncover the crimes committed by the occupation against medical personnel, the wounded, patients, and displaced persons.
