The Yiftah military base, located near the Lebanese border, came under rocket attack on Monday, resulting in the injury of four Israeli soldiers. The Israeli army confirmed the attack but did not announce any fatalities.
In a related context, Hezbollah announced in a statement that its members carried out an aerial attack using suicide drones on the tents housing officers and soldiers of the enemy at a site belonging to the Reserve Artillery Battalion 403, affiliated with the 91st Division south of Beit Hillel. The attack resulted in the death of one and the injury of another among the enemy ranks.
In another development, another statement from Hezbollah confirmed that after careful monitoring of the enemy’s movements in the Yiftah base and the emergence of a tank from its hiding place, Islamic resistance fighters launched a missile attack on the tank, resulting in its destruction and the killing and injuring of its crew members.
Tensions in the region continue to escalate, along with growing fears of a conflict that could lead to a wide-scale war.
